About the Bartender role
A Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while keeping the bar organized, stocked, and welcoming. The best bartenders mix technical skill with hospitality: they know their classics, work clean and fast, and read the room well enough to give every guest the right experience.
Beyond mixing drinks, bartenders check identification, handle payments, manage inventory behind the bar, and ensure alcohol is served responsibly and legally. In many venues they also create seasonal cocktails, train barbacks, and act as the face of the establishment during busy nights.
Your posting should reflect your venue's style: a high-volume sports bar needs speed and stamina, a cocktail bar needs craft and creativity, and a hotel bar needs polish. Say which one you are, and mention required certifications for alcohol service in your region.
