Requirements and skills
- Proven working experience as a System Administrator or in a similar IT infrastructure role
- Strong experience administering Windows Server, Linux, or both
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, or equivalent identity and access management
- Working knowledge of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPNs
- Experience with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox
- Scripting skills in PowerShell or Bash for automation
- Experience with backup solutions and disaster recovery procedures
- Strong troubleshooting skills and clear communication with non-technical colleagues
