We are looking for a Payroll Specialist to own our end-to-end payroll cycle and keep it accurate, compliant, and on schedule. Responsibilities
- Process each payroll cycle end to end, from data collection to payment and payslip distribution
- Validate time, attendance, overtime, and leave data before every run
- Calculate gross-to-net pay, including taxes, benefits deductions, bonuses, and garnishments
- Process new hires, salary changes, and terminations, including final pay calculations
- Prepare and file payroll tax returns and statutory reports on time
- Reconcile payroll accounts with the general ledger and resolve discrepancies with accounting

- Maintain accurate payroll records and keep documentation ready for audits
- Stay current on changes in payroll legislation and update processes accordingly

Requirements and skills
- 2 or more years of hands-on payroll processing experience, ideally owning a full cycle
- Working knowledge of payroll tax rules, social contributions, and wage-and-hour regulations in your market
- Experience with a payroll platform such as ADP, Paychex, or a local equivalent
- Strong Excel skills for reconciliations, audits, and gross-to-net checks
- Exceptional accuracy and the discipline to follow checklists under deadline pressure
- Discretion with highly sensitive compensation data
- Service mindset and patience when explaining pay calculations to employees
- Degree or diploma in accounting, business, or HR, or equivalent payroll experience
