We are looking for a Technical Recruiter to own hiring for our engineering and technology roles. You will partner with engineering managers to define requirements, source passive candidates through direct outreach and communities, run structured screening calls that assess both technical background and motivation, and manage candidates through interviews to a signed offer. You will also keep pipeline data clean in our ATS and use funnel metrics to improve conversion. Success means technical roles are filled predictably with strong engineers who stay, and candidates speak well of the process whether or not they are hired.
Responsibilities
- Partner with engineering managers to define role requirements, seniority, and realistic candidate profiles
- Write compelling, accurate job descriptions for technical roles and post them to relevant channels
- Source passive candidates through direct outreach, developer communities, referrals, and Boolean search
- Run screening calls that credibly assess technical background, motivation, and compensation expectations
- Coordinate technical interviews and assessments, and brief interviewers on what to evaluate
- Manage candidate pipelines in the ATS with clean stages, notes, and follow-up dates
- Advise hiring managers on market compensation, talent availability, and process bottlenecks
- Craft and negotiate offers for candidates who often hold competing options
- Track funnel metrics such as response rate, pass-through rate, and offer acceptance, and act on them
- Build talent pipelines and employer brand presence for hard-to-fill and recurring roles
Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a Technical Recruiter, in-house or agency, with hires you can speak to in detail
- Solid understanding of common technology roles, stacks, and how engineering teams are structured
- Hands-on sourcing skills, including Boolean search, outreach sequencing, and community channels
- Experience running structured screens and coordinating technical assessments
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and disciplined pipeline hygiene
- Strong negotiation skills and composure when closing candidates with multiple offers
- Data literacy: you track your funnel and can explain where and why candidates drop off
- BSc or BA in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience
