Requirements and skills
- An active dental hygiene license in good standing where this practice operates
- An associate degree or higher from an accredited hygiene program
- Current CPR certification
- Confident with scaling instruments, ultrasonic scalers, and digital radiography
- Sound on periodontal charting and on infection control protocol
- Warm and steady with patients of every age, including anxious ones
- Documents accurately and works comfortably in practice management software
- Reliable and punctual in a clinic where the schedule is the constraint
Nice to have
