About the Front-End Developer role

A Front-End Developer builds the part of an application users see and touch: implementing interfaces from designs, managing application state, consuming APIs, and making everything fast, accessible, and pleasant to use. The craft lives in the details users feel but rarely name.

Modern front-end work is genuine software engineering: component architecture, state management, testing, build tooling, and performance budgets. The role collaborates daily with designers on feasibility and with back-end engineers on API contracts, so communication matters as much as code.

In your posting, name your framework and tooling, the product surface the developer will own, and how design collaboration works. Frontend candidates evaluate roles by stack fit and design maturity more than almost anything else.
