Responsibilities

  • Own the email marketing strategy, calendar, and performance targets
  • Plan, build, and send campaigns, including newsletters and promotions
  • Design and maintain automated flows such as welcome, onboarding, nurture, and win-back sequences
  • Write and edit email copy, or brief writers, with strong subject line discipline
  • Segment the audience and personalize content based on behavior and lifecycle stage
  • Run A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing, and cadence, and apply the results
  • Monitor deliverability, sender reputation, and authentication, including SPF, DKIM, and DMARC
  • Manage list growth, hygiene, and re-engagement, and keep unsubscribes and complaints low
  • Ensure compliance with email regulations such as GDPR, KVKK, and CAN-SPAM
  • Report on opens, clicks, conversions, and revenue per campaign and flow
  • Coordinate email with broader marketing campaigns and product launches

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as an Email Marketing Manager or similar role
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major email platform, such as Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or Braze
  • A track record of building automated flows that produced measurable results
  • Strong copywriting and editing skills for email
  • Working knowledge of deliverability, authentication, and list hygiene practices
  • Experience with segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing
  • Basic HTML and email template editing skills
